Lonely Planet

NOVEMBER 10 - 26, 2023 AT FIREHOUSE THEATRE

by Steven Dietz

Jody runs a map store in a great American city in the early 1990s. As friends fall victim to AIDS, Jody’s store becomes his sanctuary. Enter Carl, whose imagination, unpredictability, and kindness help open the world to Jody.

Called “a moving portrait of loss and undying friendship” by The San Diego Union- Tribune, LONELY PLANET demonstrates the power of compassion to see us through even the darkest of nights.
